Designed by: Bill Greening Vintage Reproduction by: Bill Greening Release Date: 2/1/2011 Product Code: T7668 1961 saw the first-ever Ken® doll. The 1st package declared him "Barbie's boyfriend." At one foot tall, his flocked hair was for sale in blonde, dark brunette, and in the rare brownette, that has been sold as a store exclusive. This reproduction version has brunette hair, and features Ken wearing red swim trunks, sandals, and also a yellow towel. Always willing to whisk Barbie away on a date, Ken features a reproduction fashion, 1964's Victory Dance #1411 on the 1400 combination of fashions. The ensemble includes crested navy jacket, white pants, Oxford shirt, red vest and tie, and sports shoes and socks. Three collector cards plus a reproduction booklet complete this handsome giftset.
