I had been sufficiently fortunate to have my Elvis and Priscilla dolls to get a lesser price than that retailer is asking. The best option, however, is always to find the dolls from Amazon as is also impossible to get in brick-and-mortar stores (for example Walmart, Target) after selling-beyond them during the early August.

The dolls are beautiful and nicely packaged. It isn't positioned hand-in-hand as with the image, but side-by-side from the box. The dolls are 11.5 inches high which makes them as tall as the average Barbie.

Mattel did both Priscilla and Elvis justice making the dolls look very real; so often we see dolls made to appear to be their famous originals and do not even come close in likeness. Elvis and Priscilla were/are very beautiful people and the dolls certainly duplicate their likeness.

Where durability goes, well, in the event you keep them into their box [when they were can be] they should be fine, though I suggest plastic casing to preserve the rather top grade they [most certainly] will attain in the future. My box wasn't seeled all around leaving open gaps inside box allowing dust to obtain in - further proving the advantages of a case. However, if you are intending to allow the kiddies have fun with these dolls, they will endure equally efficiently as the average Barbie doll. Priscillas hair will probably get knotted/matted with breeze.

For educational value I gave these dolls 3 stars for that brief wedding bio for the box but for the replication on the Priscilla's bridal dress, Elvis' paisley tux and boots (Priscilla's feet can not be seen without opening the lamp i really am unsure which kind of shoe she's wearing), and their wedding bands - hey, this is history! There are 2-3 wedding photos on the box.

My overall rating was 4 stars simply because We would have preferred Elvis's hair to have been fabric (like Priscilla's) rather then plastic. I truly do believe the reasoning behind the plastic is so that this hair keeps your hands on Elvis' famous swooped-'do and shine. Besides that, these dolls for me, are simply just fantastic. I am certain any bride/groom could be content to receive this set being a gift.

These dolls will clearly be considered a treasure to fans, Barbie collectors, along with the driver with everything in mind.
